SweetKnits is pleased to offer SweetKnits Separates - a fun, versatile, and interchangeable line for your sweet little one! A Separates set begins with a pair of pants (or shorts) with a coordinating skirty: a variegated skirty with solid colored pants, or vice versa. Accessories (such as hats, vests, sweaters, or slippers) can be added to the base set. Add a second pair of pants or skirt in a different color - the possibilities are endless! SK Separates are designed to be mixed and matched, and used individually or together. Pants or shorts are knit from the picky pants pattern with an elastic waistband and many cuff options available. Skirty is derived from the flirty skirty pattern and knit with a ribbed drawstring waist, allowing it to be used alone (or over shorts) in the warmer months, or over the pants in cooler weather. Buttons can be added to the pants, if desired, so the skirty can be attachable (though this is not necessary - our skirty stays in place perfectly with just the drawstring).
These small Picky Pants were knit by Kristin in a bright rainbow colourway, dyed on Blackberry Ridge Merino wool. They feature a drawstring waist, short rows across the backside (to accomodate diaper bulk), and casual rolled leg edges.
